A bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Marmara University and West Ukrainian National University. Within the framework of Erasmus+, ideas were exchanged on student and academic exchanges and on the execution of joint projects. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar and Prof. Dr. Andriy Krysovatyy at the Marmara University Rectorate on 8 July, 2021. Within the scope of the agreement, a consensus was reached on developing joint projects primarily in the fields of history, management, economics and engineering. Mutual statements were also issued in the direction of cooperation on meeting, discussing and conducting training activities in the opposite institution.
Marmara University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çelen, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Prof. Dr. Sadullah Çelik, Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office, Prof. Dr. Nuri Tınaz and Deputy Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office Lect. Dr. Mert Denizci was present in the protocol. Also, as a member of West Ukrainian National University, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Research Prof. Dr. Oksana Desyatnyuk, Director of the International Communication School Prof. Dr. Olga Tsaryk and International Communications Specialist Liliya Krysovata were present.
